Dr. Anselmo, Associate Professor of Management, is in his 16th year with the Department of Management at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He currently serves as Department Chair and is also, along with Dr. Andrew Sung, Coordinator of the New Mexico Tech Information Technology Program. He is also Director of the Graduate New Mexico Tech Engineering Management Program, which he initiated, and is a Research Scientist at the New Mexico Tech Institute for Complex Additive Systems Analysis (ICASA).
He has taught a variety of executive and graduate courses around the country and the world, and he has extensive experience with executive graduate management programs. He also has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, where he has focused on training and development of training materials for a variety of clients. He has experience in valuation of petroleum reserves using Monte Carlo simulation-based techniques. His current research interests are in the areas of complex financial markets and new-product development and marketing. He is head of the GreenBranch Communications software development and marketing effort at New Mexico Tech, and also heads the New Mexico Tech Commodity Markets Modeling Project.
He has been active in community and public service, including a stint on the Socorro County Land Use (Planning and Zoning) Commission. He holds the PhD and MBA degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Fine Art from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
